Dr. Zhiping Li is an Associate Professor at the School of Civil Engineering, East China Jiaotong University. Born in June 1986 in Xiantao, Hubei, China, Dr. Li holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, awarded in 2021. During his academic journey, he earned the title of an Outstanding Graduate from Harbin Institute of Technology. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Li worked extensively in the field of non-ferrous metal mining engineering, contributing to over 30 domestic and international mining projects. He has received multiple industry awards and has led research and development initiatives in three-dimensional design for several years. 🌍

Dr. Li’s educational journey began at Wuhan University of Engineering, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering in 2007. He then pursued a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering at Henan Polytechnic University, graduating in 2010. His passion for civil engineering led him to the prestigious Harbin Institute of Technology, where he earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering in 2021. During this period, he was also recognized for his outstanding academic achievements.

Dr. Li’s professional career includes a significant tenure at China Ruilin Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. from 2010 to 2017, where he held various positions, including Assistant Engineer and Engineer. He was involved in large-scale mining projects, focusing on non-ferrous metal mining design and consulting. In 2021, Dr. Li transitioned to academia, joining East China Jiaotong University as a Lecturer and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2023.
