Dr. Heidar Rahimi is a researcher in the Department of Pathobiology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Semnan University, Iran. His widely cited study on the nasal carriage and antibiotic resistance of Staphylococcus aureus in healthy ruminants remains a foundational contribution to veterinary microbiology. In recent years he has advanced molecular diagnostic science through the optimization of touch-down PCR techniques and the genomic detection of pathogens in milk and clinical samples supporting improved disease surveillance in both animal and human populations.Dr. Rahimi’s collaborations span multiple academic and clinical research teams across Iran contributing to high-impact studies published in journals such as Veterinary Medicine International Animal Biotechnology Scientific Reports and Infection Genetics and Evolution. His research has strengthened regional and national efforts to control zoonotic diseases  particularly brucellosis  bovine tuberculosis  and listeriosis.Through his dedication to molecular epidemiology and veterinary public health Dr. Rahimi has played an essential role in generating evidence that informs One Health initiativesb enhances food safety systems and supports the early detection and prevention of zoonotic threats.
