He holds a MSc in Structural Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India, focusing on seismic resistance using viscous fluid dampers. His BSc in Civil Engineering is from Azad University of Bojnourd, Iran.

Pouya has extensive hands-on experience, having worked in various roles, such as Charge of Project Control & Resident Supervisor at ASA ASHIAN ATI CO. and Technical Bureau Engineer & Quantity Surveyor at the same company. His work includes overseeing complex building constructions and conducting cost estimations for large-scale projects like a 150 km transmission line.
