Dr. C. P. Sujith is a theoretical condensed matter physicist with a recent PhD from the Central University of Kerala, India, specializing in first-principles Density Functional Theory (DFT) and materials informatics. His research focuses on quasi-one-dimensional chalcogenide materials, revealing strong optical birefringence and anisotropic electronic transport with applications in optoelectronics, sensing, and polarimetric technologies. He has published multiple articles in high-impact international journals and actively collaborates with multidisciplinary research teams. Dr. Sujith has also proposed a novel energy gap–refractive index relationship using nonlinear regression.
