Dr. Leila Barati is an accomplished Iranian pediatrician and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Golestan University of Medical Sciences, where she has served since 2015. She works within the Faculty of Medicine and the Neonatal and Children’s Health Research Center, contributing extensively to child health research and clinical education. She holds a Special Degree in Pediatrics from Golestan University of Medical Sciences (2015), an MPH in Drug Addiction Survey from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (2014), and a Primary Medical Degree from Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences (2003).Dr. Barati’s research expertise spans pediatrics, infectious diseases, childhood obesity, pediatric hypertension, enuresis, and neonatal health. Her scholarly work reflects a diverse and evolving research portfolio focused on improving diagnostic accuracy, therapeutic strategies, and preventive care in children. She has authored over 16 peer-reviewed publications, many appearing in reputable journals such as Frontiers in Pediatrics, Iranian Journal of Pediatrics, Journal of Comprehensive Pediatrics, and Future Virology.
